テーマ： The Unified Patent Court and the Unitary Patent are coming!
- Newest Developments on UPC and the Unitary Patent -
The UPC will finally open its doors on June 1 of this year, ushering in a new era in the
European patent system. After giving a brief introduction to unitary patents and the
Unified Patent Court, this lecture will focus on practical problems and hot topics, such as
strategies for opt-out and the selection of judges. There will also be a discussion of what
some German companies are planning with regard to opt-out and unitary patents. This lecture
will be held in Japanese.
